The initial evaluation will last approximately 1 hour and provide a comprehensive evaluation that looks at language and speech sound development. Additional information will be gathered via questionnaires and parent interviews to gain a better understanding of past medical history, parental concerns, and expectations for therapy. If your child has not had a speech and language evaluation in the past 6 months, an initial evaluation will be warranted. 

Treatment sessions are available at home and over telehealth if appropriate for your child. Treatment sessions vary depending on each client's needs but include building off their strengths during play activities. Additionally, caregiver education will be provided and modeled throughout the session to promote carryover and confidence in implementing strategies at home to promote language development. 

We also offer tele-therapy sessions during evening hours throughout the week. These session last between 30 and 45 minutes.
